The school education and literacy department have issued an order related to this on Tuesday. This order issued from the level of Director of Secondary Education, Jatashankar Chaudhary, states that no holiday other than December 25 will be valid on the remaining working day of December.
He has given this order keeping in view the preparation of students for the exams of class X and XII. Besides, it has been made mandatory for teachers to make manual attendance through the 'E Vidyavahini' app. The Director has asked the District Education Officers to ensure compliance with the concerned order.
According to the Director of Secondary Education, punitive action will be taken against teachers if they are found absent from school on different workdays. Teachers will be able to take leave only in emergencies, that too with the permission of District Education Officers. Let us tell you that since 21 December, the directorate has made it mandatory for all teachers to come to school. At the same time, all schools have been opened for classes X and XII.
