It started in the year Dec 2019 worldwide, then slowly & steadily it started spreading everywhere. In the year 2020, the initial 3 months were the starting of the disaster. Everyone was scared. Then in march lockdown was declared, which was stretched to September. As a result, the situation was under control till March 2021. But, suddenly in April, the number of covid patients increased rapidly. And it is unstoppable for now. The number of active cases is increasing. The death rate is increasing day by day. The most affected states In India are Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, West Bengal, UP, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.
According to my, the main common causes of this rapid increase in cases resulting in deaths are elections. People gathered in thousands for rallies and campaigning of different parties in different states to make sure that their party wins & comes into power. And obviously, no one bothered about Corona at the time of campaigning and during rallies also. They forget about social distancing & even about wearing masks, which was mandatory for everyone, everywhere till the time this pandemic disappears completely.
Even the 'Kumbh Mela' held in Haridwar played a major role in worsening the situation even more. Because there also people didn't bother and hence no precaution was taken to protect themselves from covid. Everybody got indulged in worshipping & diving in Ganga.
